Title
A resolution to support the rental of office space for the St. John Parish WIA Office from St. John the Baptist Parish Government.
Body
WHEREAS, St. John the Baptist Parish has proposed the construction of a new building along U.S. 61 in Reserve of approximately 7,255 square feet; and,
WHEREAS, the River Parishes Workforce Investment Act has requested to lease approximately 4,267 square feet in said building to house their St. John Parish One Stop Center; and,
WHEREAS, prior to St. John the Baptist Parish starting construction of said facility, it is their desire to have a commitment from St. Charles Parish to lease said facility upon its completion; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of St. Charles Parish to approve said commitment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby commit to lease approximately 4,267 square feet of office space for the St. John Parish Workforce Investment Act One Stop Center from St. John the Baptist Parish in its new facility located along U.S. 61 in Reserve.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT the monthly rental shall be $2,333.70 with a detailed lease agreement to be approved by the Parish Council prior to occupancy.

And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2002, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
