IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Jason Michael Bergeron is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana with his parents Douglas, Sr. and Brenda and his brother Douglas, Jr. and sister Brenna Rome; and,
WHEREAS, Jason is a Junior. Assistant Scout Master and Member of Troop 371, chartered by the United Methodist Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career in March 2000; and,
WHEREAS, Jason has spent the last seven years as an active member of the Scouts spending this time preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, Jason has earned his 21 required merit badges and seven elective badges from a list of 132 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by painting all the fire hydrants in the Mimosa Park area; and,
WHEREAS, Jason earned these 28 required badges by showing leadership ability as Junior Assistant Scout Master, Senior Patrol Leader for three years, Instructor, Den Chief, and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader; and,
WHEREAS, Jason rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on December 16, 2006 and will receive his medal in a ceremony on March 31, 2007 at the Luling United Methodist Church in Luling; and,
WHEREAS, Jason is a Junior at Hahnville High School and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as a Junior Assistant Scout Master for Troop 371.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
JASON MICHAEL BERGERON
