Title
A resolution to request that the Department of Planning & Zoning, in conjunction with the Planning & Zoning Commission study the appropriateness of the current zoning in Ama and forward the results of said study to the Parish Council for their consideration.
Body
WHEREAS, the current zoning of Ama was established in the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 as amended; and,
WHEREAS, over the past twenty-five years the Community of Ama has experienced little growth; and,
WHEREAS, new developments are now being proposed in Ama that could forever change the character of the Community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request that the Department of Planning & Zoning, in conjunction with the Planning & Zoning Commission, study the appropriateness of the current zoning in Ama and forward the results of said study to the Parish Council for their consideration.
