Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 22-3-7, which approved the Professional Services Agreement with Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, for the King and Hahn Street Drainage Improvements (Project No. P220202), in the amount not to exceed $149,707.00.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 22-3-7 adopted on March 7, 2022, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, to perform engineering services for the King and Hahn Street Drainage Improvements (Project No. P220202), in the amount not to exceed $432,650.00; and,
WHEREAS, Due to a change in scope of adding more drainage area to the project, St. Charles Parish requested that Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, update the Hydraulic and Hydrologic model to incorporate this change, as well as modify the topographic and drainage surveys, plans, permit, servitude and Right of Way maps and supporting documents to reflect the changed project layout; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish and Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, have mutually agreed upon a not to exceed fee of $149,707.00 to complete the work, increasing the overall contract value to $582,357.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, for the King and Hahn Street Drainage Improvements (Project No. P220202), in the total not to exceed amount of $149,707.00, to increase the overall contract value to $582,357.00, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
