IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Ronald Schumann, III, a resident of Destrehan, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish, is a graduating Senior at Destrehan High School; and,
WHEREAS,      Ronald has excelled in academics and is the Destrehan High School Valedictorian for the graduating class of 2003; and,
WHEREAS,      Ronald during his years at Destrehan was a member of the National Honor Society, Captain of the Quizbowl Team, and Treasurer of the Honors Council; and,
WHEREAS,      Ronald was involved in the Drama Department Mainstage Productions, Talented Art, and Talented Drama; and,
WHEREAS,      Ronald was a six time Character Award Nominee, placed third in the State Literary Rally for English, and was a part of "A Tribute to Freedom" - Anthology to Commemorate September 11th; and,
WHEREAS,      Ronald is a Tour Guide at Destrehan Plantation and for the City of New Orleans; and,
WHEREAS,      Ronald will be attending the University of South Alabama in the fall, pursuing a degree in Meteorology; and,
WHEREAS,      Ronald's main focus will be on Broadcast Meteorology.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
