Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Act of Donation by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. for the Fire House Property located at 807 Barber Road, Paradis.
Body
WHEREAS, Chevron U.S.A. Inc. is the owner of a certain 1.976 acre tract of land located at 807 Barber Road, Paradis, which is being used as a Fire House by the Paradis Volunteer Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Chevron U.S.A. Inc. has agreed to donate said Fire House Property to St. Charles Parish, which property is shown as Lot 516A on a Plat recorded in Book 677, Page 847 of the Conveyance Records of St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to accept said Donation on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Act of Donation - Immovable Property by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. for the Paradis Volunteer Fire Department Property to St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Donation on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2006, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
