Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing a Home Office under the operation of Sandy Phillip - "PoohDat, Inc" - a portable sanitary facility provider- at 101 Roseland Drive, Luling.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Section XXII states that home occupations requiring any state license or permit must be approved by the Parish Council; and,
WHEREAS, the home occupation permit requested by Sandy Philip requires licensing and registration with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality; and,
WHEREAS, a meeting on May 2, 2013, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request with the stipulation that "at no time, ever, for any reason, shall a temporary sanitary facility, or portable toilet be on the property."
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the request for a home occupation permit by Sandy Phillip to operate "PoohDat, Inc"- a portable sanitary facility provider- at 101 Roseland Drive, Luling - is approved.
SECTION II. That the approval is contingent upon the stipulation that at no time while PoohDat, Inc operates from the home office at 101 Roseland Drive shall there be a temporary sanitary facility or portable toilet on the property.
SECTION III. That the Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to grant said home occupation permit.
