Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, as amended, to change the zoning classification from O-L to C-3 on approximately 82,000 sq. ft. of a property designated as Lot 13-M-1, portion of Lot 13, Coteau De France, as shown on the survey by David L. Patterson, PLS dated June 16, 2022, as requested by RaceTrac, Inc. for Lloyd Dufrene.
Body
WHEREAS, the applicant requests rezoning from O-L to C-3 on approximately 82,000 sq. ft. of a property designated as Lot 13-M-1, portion of Lot 13, Coteau De France, as shown on the survey by David L. Patterson, PLS dated June 16, 2022, as requested by RaceTrac, Inc. for Lloyd Dufrene; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of October 13, 2022.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981, as amended, is further amended to change the zoning classification from O-L to C-3 on approximately 82,000 sq. ft. of a property designated as Lot 13-M-1, portion of Lot 13, Coteau De France, as shown on the survey by David L. Patterson, PLS dated June 16, 2022, as requested by RaceTrac, Inc. for Lloyd Dufrene.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from O-L to C-3 on approximately 82,000 sq. ft. of a property designated as Lot 13-M-1, portion of Lot 13, Coteau De France, as shown on the survey by David L. Patterson, PLS dated June 16, 2022, as requested by RaceTrac, Inc. for Lloyd Dufrene.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
