Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 08-11-4,the 2009 Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget, to adjust Beginning Fund Balances to Actuals and to adjust Revenues and Expenditures in various funds.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2009 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget was adopted by Ordinance No 08-11-4 on November 17, 2008; and amended February 16, 2009 by Ordinance 09-2-8; March 2, 2009 by Executive Order 09-1; March 18, 2009 by Executive Order No 09-2; March 24, 2009 by Executive Order 09-3; May 20, 2009 by Executive Order 09-4; May 26, 2009 by Executive Order 09-5; June 1, 2009 by Ordinance No 09-6-2; July 14, 2009 by Executive Order 09-6; August 12, 2009 by Executive Order 09-7; September 2, 2009 by Executive Order 09-8; September 8, 2009 by Ordinance No 09-9-9; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has taken under consideration the study of the amendment to the St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget for fiscal year 2009 as shown by the Revision Schedule.
THE St. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That in accordance with the provisions of Article V, Sections D, E, and F of the St. Charles Parish Home Rule Charter and with the Louisiana Local Government Budget Act (R.S. 39:1301 et. seq.), the St. Charles Parish Council does hereby approve and amend the 2009 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget, as amended, and attached hereto and made a part hereof as “Exhibit A” and “Exhibit B”.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:




And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of December, 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
