Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Byron E. Talbot Contractors, Inc for the construction of Parish Project No. P070701, Maryland Drive Bridge Crossing, with a bid in the amount of $380,930.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on February 5, 2009 for Parish Project No. P070701, Maryland Drive Bridge Crossing; and,
WHEREAS, Meyer Engineers, Ltd, Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Byron E. Talbot Contractors, in the amount of $380,930.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Byron E. Talbot Contractors, for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. P070701, Maryland Drive Bridge Crossing, be hereby accepted, in the amount of $380,930.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.
