Title
A resolution providing authorization to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office to allow construction of a 300 foot guyed communications tower on the site of the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center, 5061 highway 3127, Killona, St. Charles Parish.
Body
WHEREAS, The St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) allows the construction of communication towers on parish-owned property with authorization by resolution of the St. Charles Parish Council; and,
WHEREAS, Nextel has proposed to construct a 300 foot communication tower at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center in Killona.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby authorize the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Department to have constructed a 300 foot communication tower on its property, the site of the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center, Lot J-1, being a resubdivision of the Clouate Tract and Mary Plantation in the town of Killona, St. Charles Parish AND that the communications tower shall comply with all provisions of the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the construction, erection, location, setbacks, and the like of communication towers.

And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2004, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
