    IN   RECOGNITION
 
 
WHEREAS,      Lecy Marie Cazalot is a resident of Destrehan, Louisiana in St Charles Parish.  Her parents are Duanne and Al Cazalot, and her two sisters are Samantha Sidwell and Shannie Ancale; and,
WHEREAS,      Lecy graduated from the Special Education Division of Destrehan High School where she was selected the Cox Inspirational Hero Award Winner for St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS,      Lecy was chosen as the representative of the Luling/Boutte Lions Club Spring Festival Pageant on April 29, 2007.  Lecy is the first "Special" child to hold the title of Butterfly Queen.  Lecy was born with Downs Syndrome; and,
WHEREAS,      as the 2007 Butterfly Queen, Lecy will travel throughout the State attending festivals and proudly representing the Luling/Boutte Lions Club.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
LECY MARIE CAZALOT
