Title
An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles, providing that the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles, be amended by revising Chapter 10, Article II. Uniform Solid Waste Management System; providing a prohibition for deposit of any construction debris prior to the day preceding the scheduled collection and prohibition for deposit of any household garbage, lawn clippings, trash bags or any other putrescible materials before 6:00 P.M. on the day proceeding the scheduled collection.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Chapter 10, Article II. Uniform Solid Waste Management System, Section 10-19-(2), Prohibited Activities, be amended so that the section shall read as follows:
Section 10-19. Scope of Legislation
(2) Prohibited activities:
k. It shall be unlawful for property owners in Ormond Plantation Estates/Subdivision and Ormond Country Club Estates Subdivision (as defined by Acts of Dedication to St. Charles Parish) to deposit any construction debris prior to the day preceding the scheduled collection and prohibition for deposit of any household garbage, lawn clippings, trash bags or any other putrescible materials before 6:00 P.M. on the day proceeding the scheduled collection. All complaints shall be initiated by the District Councilmember or the Ormond Civic Association and enforced by the Sheriff's Department.
SECTION II. That the foregoing provisions of this ordinance shall be included and incorporated in the Code of Ordinances of the Parish of St. Charles as an addition or amendment thereto, and the provisions shall be appropriately renumbered to conform to the uniform numbering system of the Code.
