Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with Linfield, Hunter & Junius, Inc, for providing all necessary professional engineering services for a linear park along and near Paul Maillard Road.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish desires to enhance recreational opportunities along and near Paul Maillard Road in Luling; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish is partnering with Bayer U.S. to provide a linear park near its property and Paul Maillard Road; and,
WHEREAS, the attached contract between the Parish and Linfield, Hunter & Junius, Inc. describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Linfield, Hunter & Junius, Inc. for professional engineering services for a linear park along and near Paul Maillard Road is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Professional Services Contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2019, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
