IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation Department has long held a prominent place in the State of Louisiana and the United States as an outstanding Parish and Recreation Program; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Girls Babe Ruth 8U All-Star Team has excelled in the 2010 All-Star Softball Season; and,
WHEREAS, on June 24-27, 2010, the St. Charles Parish Girls Babe Ruth 8U All-Stars finished in first place in the Babe Ruth State Tournament held in Brusly, Louisiana, allowing them to advance to the Southwest Regional Tournament; and,
WHEREAS, on July 22-26, 2010, the St. Charles Parish Girls Babe Ruth 8U All-Stars finished fourth out of thirteen teams in the Babe Ruth Southwest Regional Tournament held in Magnolia, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, members of the Parish Council and the Parish President wish to recognize the outstanding performance of members of the 2010 St. Charles Parish Girls Babe Ruth 8U All-Star Team and their Coaches.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY RECOGNIZE
