Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1-Final for Parish Project No. P000309 Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization, Phase V to decrease the contract amount by $56.88 and to increase the contract time by 41 days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARSIH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 00-11-1 adopted November 6, 2000 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with D&O Contractors, Inc. for the construction of Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization, Phase V in the amount of $182,958.16.
SECTION II. That it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities and to increase the contract time by 41 calendar days to account for unexpected delays of the Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization, Phase V.
SECTION III. That it is necessary to decrease the contract amount by $56.88 and increase the contract time by 41 calendar days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE
ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1-Final to the contract for Dunleith Canal Bank Stabilization, Phase V and to decrease the contract amount by $56.88 and increase the contract time by 41 calendar days.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
