Title
A resolution requesting the Louisiana Legislature to introduce legislation that would revise the current R.S. 33:103, C.(1)(a) to change the per diem paid to the Planning & Zoning Commission Members to not less than forty dollars ($40.00) nor more than sixty dollars ($60.00), and in no instance shall the number of meetings exceed a maximum of twelve per year.

WHEREAS, under the current R.S. 33:103, C.(1)(a) the Members are presently paid not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than forty dollars ($40.00) per diem for attending meetings of the Board; and,
WHEREAS, a per diem increase is requested to compensate for the overall price index increase.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the Louisiana Legislature to introduce legislation that would revise the current R.S. 33:103, C.(1)(a) to change the per diem paid to the Planning & Zoning Commission Members to not less than forty dollars ($40.00) nor more than sixty dollars ($60.00), and in no instance shall the number of meetings exceed a maximum of twelve per year.
