Title
A resolution supporting the application for funding of the Destrehan 2 Pump Station Improvements project through the Louisiana Office of Community Development’s FY 2022-2023 Local Government Assistance Program.
Body
WHEREAS, Louisiana Legislature House Bill 592 (Act 170) allocated $180,000.00 per parish for the Local Government Assistance Program for fiscal year 2022-2023; and,
WHEREAS, the Destrehan 2 Pump Station Improvements project scope includes increasing the sump storage capacity and efficiency of the pump station; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish President and the Department of Public Works requests the Parish Council’s support for the application to have this recommended improvement partially funded through the Louisiana Office of Community Development’s FY 2022-2023 Local Government Assistance Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and support the application for funding of the Destrehan 2 Pump Station Improvements project through the Louisiana Office of Community Development’s FY 2022-2023 Local Government Assistance Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said application and to act on behalf of St. Charles Parish in all matters pertaining to this project and subsequent grant award.
