Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Grillot Construction Company, LLC., for the construction of Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I, in the amount of $743,456.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on November 21, 2003 for West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I; and,
WHEREAS, Shread-Kuyrkendall and Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Grillot Construction Company, LLC., in the Base Bid and Alternate 1 amount of $743,456.00; and,
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Grillot Construction Company, LLC., for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I, be hereby accepted, with Base Bid and Alternate 1, in the amount of $743,456.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.
