Title
An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the Code of Ordinances Parish of St. Charles be amended by revising Appendix A, Section IV. General provisions, 9. and the last paragraph of this Section.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Appendix A, Section IV. General provisions, 9. and the last paragraph of this Section be revised to read as follows:
9. Review and evaluation criteria/special permit use and special exception use: The appropriate decision-making agent and/or body shall review and evaluate each application based upon the following relevant criteria when the proposed use is the sole use on the lot or parcel on which the proposed use is to occur. When the proposed use is ancillary to a standard permitted use allowed in the subject zoning district, the appropriate decision-making agent and/or body shall review and evaluate each application based upon the following relevant criteria as they pertain specifically to and only to the subject of the application under consideration and not to that of the proposed standard permit use.
The above criteria listed in a-g is to be considered illustrative and not restrictive, and other criteria may be considered although not specifically listed above if said criteria considered as specified above, affects [affect] the general welfare and safety of the public at large.
