Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with GEC, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P111002, Four-Year Road Maintenance Program (2012-15).
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish desires to have Parish Project No. P111002, Four-Year Road Maintenance Program (2012-15).completed; and,
WHEREAS, this project requires professional services for the preparation of the annual road maintenance study, design, and administration of road repairs, overlays, shoulder and/or curb repair as determined by the Parish wide Priority Ranking System; and,
WHEREAS, it is important that St. Charles Parish proceed with this project in order to protect the property and well-being of its citizens.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with GEC, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P111002, Four-Year Road Maintenance Program (2012-15) be hereby accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Engineering Services Contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
