Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with GEC, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P090103, Three-Year Road Maintenance Program (2009, 2010, 2011).
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish desires to have Parish Project No. P090103, Three-Year Road Maintenance Program (2009, 2010, 2011), completed; and,
WHEREAS, this project requires professional services for the preparation of the annual road maintenance study, design, and administration of road repairs, overlays, shoulder and/or curb repair as determined by the Parishwide Priority Ranking System; and,
WHEREAS, it is important that St. Charles Parish proceed with this project in order to protect the property and well-being of its citizens.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with GEC, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P090103, Three-Year Road Maintenance Program (2009, 2010, 2011) is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Engineering Services Contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
