Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an amendment to an Administrative Engineering Contract with EJES, Inc., for providing professional engineering services for the Ed Reed Park Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council has partnered with the Ed Reed Foundation to design and construct the proposed Ed Reed Park in St. Rose; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish entered into an Administrative contract on June 1, 2017 with EJES, Inc. for professional engineering services for the design of the Ed Reed Park for a fee of $19,921.38; and,
WHEREAS, additional professional engineering services were required to modify and complete the design of this park, as described in the attached January 22, 2018 proposal from EJES, Inc., for an additional cost of $5,976.41.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the amendment to the Administrative Engineering Contract between EJES, Inc. and St. Charles Parish for an additional cost of $5,976.41 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said amendment on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
