Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Volute, Inc. for the construction of Parish Project No. P090403, Dianne Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaners, with a Bid in the amount of $483,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on January 27, 2011 for Dianne Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaners; and,
WHEREAS, PEEC, Inc, Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Bid be awarded to the low bidder, Volute, Inc, in the amount of $483,000.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Volute, Inc, for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. P090403, Dianne Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaners, be hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $483,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
