An Ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Act of Sale by Linda Dufrene wife of and Richard P. Chiasson for Lot A-2, Sunset Drainage District, for the Bayou Gauche Recreational Park Expansion.
Body
WHEREAS,      the Parish is currently leasing the property located to the rear of the residence at 406 First Street in Bayou Gauche which is adjacent to the Bayou Gauche Recreational Park; and
WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish to exercise it's right to purchase said property, as per Ordinance No. 01-8-13 the Park Lease Agreement approved by the Parish Council on August 20, 2001, which will expand the Park Site to over eight acres.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.      That the Act of Sale, by and between Linda Dufrene wife of and Richard P. Chiasson, in the amount of $108,684.32 is hereby approved.
      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Sale on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
