Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. Two (2), Final, for the Ama Lift Station and Force Main Project to decrease the contract amount by $4,313.51 and to increase the contract time by 16 days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 99-9-8 adopted September 7, 1999 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with D&O Contractor, Inc. for the construction of the Ama Lift Station and Force Main Project in the amount of $1,538,117.30; and
SECTION II. Ordinance No. 99-12-11 adopted December 6, 1999 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. 1 to allow the contractor to used directional drilling in lieu of open-cut technique at no additional cost to the owner or increase in contract time; and
SECTION III. That it is necessary to adjust the contract price in order to reflect actual final quantities used and to provide credits to the Parish of St. Charles for quantities not used.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two (2) to the contract for the Ama Lift Station and Force Main Project and to decrease the contract amount by $4,313.51 and to increase the contract time by 16 calendar days.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Final Change Order to the contract.
