Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the revocation of the dedication of Berwyn Avenue, Elto Street, Parsons Avenue and an unimproved fifty (50) foot strip parallel to the South side of the Illinois Central Railroad right of way, all in the Fairview Plantation Subdivision, St. Rose, Louisiana, with the revocation conditioned on the exchange of property with Angelo Iafrate Construction Company and or its assigns and the construction of new streets and their dedication to St. Charles Parish, within the proposed Terre Haute Subdivision.

WHEREAS, four (4) certain streets, namely, Berwyn Avenue, Elto Street, Parsons Avenue and an unimproved fifty (50) foot strip parallel to the South side of the Illinois Central Railroad right of way all in the Fairview Plantation Subdivision, St. Rose, Louisiana, have been dedicated to St. Charles Parish for public use, but never improved, per the plan of survey of Fairview Plantation Subdivision by S.E. Calogne, dated May 24, 1927 and more fully shown on survey by J. Michael Dixon, dated December 2, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, Angelo Iafrate Construction Company as the owner of a portion of Fairview Plantation Subdivision, is obtaining preliminary approval for the Terre Haute Subdivision which includes that portion of the Fairview Plantation Subdivision on which the above-named roads are situated; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Terre Haute Subdivision includes property which will be dedicated to St. Charles Parish to be used as new streets which makes the above named four (4) streets unnecessary to the public welfare.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
