Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC for the construction of Bonnet Carre Spillway Parish Road Repairs in the amount of $489,700.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on August 14, 2008 for Bonnet Carre Spillway Parish Road Repairs; and,
WHEREAS, C.J. Savoie Consulting Engineers, Inc., the Engineer for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC, in the amount of $489,700.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Bros. Construction Co., LLC, for the construction of Bonnet Carre Spillway Parish Road Repairs, be hereby approved, in the amount of $489,700.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
