Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on Lots 10 & 11, Block N, Magnolia Ridge Park Subdivision, municipal address 359 Lily Street, Boutte, as requested by Artis Nelson for John & Margarette Nelson.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner endorses a request for rezoning from R-1A to R-1A(M) on Lots 10 & 11, Block N, Magnolia Ridge Park Subdivision, municipal address 359 Lily Street, Boutte, as requested by Artis Nelson; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended denial of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request at its regular meeting of March 3, 2022.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on Lots 10 & 11, Block N, Magnolia Ridge Park Subdivision, municipal address 359 Lily Street, Boutte, as requested by Artis Nelson for John & Margarette Nelson.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on Lots 10 & 11, Block N, Magnolia Ridge Park Subdivision, municipal address 359 Lily Street, Boutte, as requested by Artis Nelson for John & Margarette Nelson.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2022, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
