Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Agreement with Civil Construction Contractors, LLC for the J. B. Green Recreational Park improvements located at 175 J. B. Green Road in Des Allemands.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on January 5, 2009 for J. B. Green Park improvements; and,
WHEREAS, C. J. Savoie Consulting Engineers, Inc. has reviewed the bids and recommends that the project be awarded to the low bidder, Civil Construction Contractors, LLC in the amount of $140,941.75; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Agreement.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Civil Construction Contractors, LLC for the J. B. Green Park improvements is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $140,941.75.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
