Title
An ordinance to rename Lac Maurepas Drive, Lac Providence Drive, Lac Catahoula Drive and Lac Cotile Drive in Ashton Subdivision, Luling, to Lac Calcasieu Drive.
Body
WHEREAS, Ashton Subdivision was dedicated with several streets improperly named; and,
WHEREAS, to conform with Planning & Zoning rules addressing standard street names and numbers; and,
WHEREAS, for the purpose of proper identification by Emergency 911 Service and mail delivery service.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the following public streets in Ashton Subdivision in Luling be changed.
FROM TO
Lac Maurepas Drive Lac Calcasieu Drive
Lac Providence Drive Lac Calcasieu Drive
Lac Catahoula Drive Lac Calcasieu Drive
Lac Cotile Drive Lac Calcasieu Drive
SECTION II. That a copy of this ordinance be sent to the St. Charles Parish Communications District, the St. Charles Parish Planning Department and the U.S. Postal Service.
SECTION III. That the Parish Administration be directed to install the proper street signs on the appropriate streets.
