IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Randi Beltz is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana with her mother Wendy, stepfather Craig Petit, and her brother Devon.  She is the daughter of Paul Beltz of Luling; and,
WHEREAS,      Randi, a fifth grade student at Lakewood Elementary, has been named 2005 Lakewood Elementary School Student of the Year and 2005 District Elementary School Student of the Year; and,
WHEREAS,      Randi is a member of the Girl Scouts, 4-H Club, band, cheerleading squad, swim team, softball team, and she is on the Principal's List at Lakewood Elementary; and,
WHEREAS,      among her accomplishments, Randi has received citizenship awards, French and Art awards, and the President's Award for Education Excellence; and,
WHEREAS,      Randi is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling, participates in the summer camp program where she was named camper of the week, and is very active in Awana Youth Ministry at the Bible Center Church in Luling; and,
WHEREAS,      Randi enjoys dancing, playing the piano, and attending school.  She would like to become a teacher after college giving her the ability to pass her knowledge on to others.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
RANDI BELTZ
2005 DISTRICT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE YEAR
