ORDINANCE NO.__________

Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Professional Construction Services, Inc. for the construction of Project P000324 Pump Station Covers in the amount of $150,719.00.

Body

WHEREAS,      sealed bids were received by the Parish on August 24, 2001, for the Pump Station Covers; and,

WHEREAS,      Carubba Engineering, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Professional Construction Services, Inc., in the amount of $150,719.00.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That the bid of Professional Construction Services, Inc. for the construction of Pump Station Covers be hereby accepted in the amount of $150,719.00.

      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

      The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
