Title
A resolution providing supporting authorization to endorse the resubdivision of Tract A of the John C Robert Estate into Tract A-1 and A-2 at 11035 and 11039 River Road, Ama with a waiver from the required frontage width on a developed public street, and the geometric standards for lot side lines, as requested by Michael C Robert.
Body
WHEREAS, Tract A of the John C Robert Estate is approximately 21 acres of land that the applicant has requested be subdivided into Tract A-1 at 0.5264 acres and Tract A-2 at approximately 20 acres; and,
WHEREAS, Tract A-2 will have a frontage line length of 26.69 feet and an actual width of 20 feet; and,
WHEREAS, Tract A-1 and Tract A-2 will have side lot lines that are not radial to a cul-du-sac; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances requires a minimum frontage width of 50 feet for lots zoned R-1AM and that all lot side lines shall be radial to curved street lines; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) requires a supporting resolution of the Parish Council to waive the required frontage on a developed public street and the required side lot lines; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, at their meeting of November 2, 2017, recommended approval of the resubdivision with said waivers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide this supporting resolution endorsing the resubdivision of Tract A of the John C Robert Estate into Tract A-1 and Tract A-2 at 11035 and 11039 River Road, Ama with a waiver from the required frontage width on a developed public street, and the geometric standards for lot side lines, as requested by Michael C Robert.
