IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Kimberly Anne Bleakley is a resident of Montz, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish where she lives with her parents Cliff and Caroline Bleakley; and,
WHEREAS, Kimberly is a 2003 Graduate of Destrehan High School. Kimberly plans to attend Nicholls State University majoring in Business Administration, upon graduation, she will continue her education at Delgado Community College to study Mortuary Science; and,
WHEREAS, Kimberly describes herself as individualistic, independent, and optimistic; and,
WHEREAS, Kimberly has received numerous awards and recognitions, among them Destrehan High School Cum Laude Graduate, TOPS Recipient, earned an Academic Excellence Diploma in Business, and was voted "Most Enthusiastic" member of the Destrehan High School Beta Club; and,
WHEREAS, Kimberly's hobbies and activities, to name a few: 6 year Member of the National Beta Club, active Member and Reporter for Sacred Heart Teen Group "S.P.L.A.S.H.", Completed Destrehan High School's C.O.E. Program, outdoor photography, and fishing with her family.
When asked why she wanted to be the next St. Charles Parish Festival Queen, Kimberly, who was sponsored by Roussel's Antiques, Gifts & Jewelry, and "Snookie" Faucheux, Councilman-at-Large, Division B, gave the following answer: "I am ready to take on a new challenge, and to be a representative of this great Parish of Plenty, which I have resided in my whole life. I would thoroughly enjoy traveling to many different festivals while meeting a variety of personalities and learning about new cultures throughout our unique state. I would be honored to hold the title of "St. Charles Parish Festival Queen XLV".
