IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Haley Lirette is a resident of Lafourche Parish residing in Raceland, Louisiana with her parents Crystal and Jason Lirette, and her brother Gavin; and,
WHEREAS,      Haley is currently a 6th grader at Raceland Middle School; and,
WHEREAS,      Haley enjoys gymnastics, fishing, cheerleading, reading, and crafting; and,
WHEREAS,      Haley was crowned Junior Queen of the St. Charles Parish Relay for Life Pageant held Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the John L. Dorsey Multi-Purpose Center in Boutte, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS,      Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity uniting communities to celebrate cancer survivors, remember people who lost their battle to the disease, and honor those still fighting while raising awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
HALEY LIRETTE
