Title
A ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with Three C's Properties, Inc., for the construction of the St. Charles Parish East Bank Multi-Use Path, Phase V, State Project No. H.007553 (formerly, State Project No. 744-45-0011), Federal Aid Project No. 4510(501), extending from Apple Street in Norco to the East Guide Levee in the Bonnet Carre Spillway in Norco.
Body
WHEREAS, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) opened bids on October 26, 2011, for said project; and,
WHEREAS, by way of a letter dated November 1, 2011, the LADOTD requested the Parish review the bids and submit to the LADOTD written recommendation of the award of the contract to the low bidder, Three C's Properties, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish submitted a letter dated November 9, 2011, concurring with the award of said project to said low bidder; and,
WHEREAS, the LADOTD has prepared a contract between the Parish and Three C's Properties, Inc., for said project; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said contract.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the contract between the Parish of St. Charles and Three C's Properties, Inc., for the St. Charles East Bank Multi-Use Path, Phase V, State Project No. H.007553, Federal Aid Project No. 4510(501), is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
