Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One (1) Final for the construction of the Destrehan II Pump Station For East Bank Improvements to increase the contract amount by $49,883.28 and to increase the contract time by 20 days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 98-1-7 adopted January 5, 1998 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with C.R. Pittman
Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the Destrehan II Pump Station for East Bank Improvements in the amount of $3,302,300.00.
SECTION II. That it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual installed quantities and to increase the contract time by 20 calendar days to account for more quantities removed and replaced during the original contract time.
SECTION III. That it is necessary to increase the contract amount by $49,883.28 and increase the contract time by 20 calendar days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) Final to the contract for the construction of the Destrehan II Pump Station for East Bank Improvements and to increase the contract amount by $49,883.28 and increase the contract time by 20 calendar days.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
