Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Amendment No. 6 to the Professional Services Agreement with Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. For necessary Consulting Engineering Services associated with Parish Project No. S950301, Eastbank and Westbank Regional Wastewater Treatment Plants and associated Pumping Stations and Force Mains.
Body
WHEREAS, the regionalization construction efforts are expected to be complete no later than 31 March 2001; and,
WHEREAS, resident engineering services expire by contract on 31 December 2000; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the Parish's best interest to continue with these same resident engineering services through the completion of construction; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish will be reimbursed approximately $25,000 of inspector overtime fees to be paid by various contractors; and,
WHEREAS, the monthly estimate for inspection services is $12,900 or $38,700 from 1 January 2001 to 31 March 2001; and,
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Professional Services Agreement between Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. and the Parish of St. Charles be amended, as shown in the attached contract, to extend the services date for resident engineering to 31 March 2001 or completion of construction and to add $38,700 to the contract for a total fee for resident inspection not to exceed $1,108,186.00.
