Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One (1) - Final for Parish Project No. P990504, Boutte Drainage Improvements, to balance contractual quantities with actual job quantities.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 03-6-12, adopted June 16, 2003, by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P990504, Boutte Drainage Improvements, to Fleming Construction Co., Inc. for the amount of $319,809.00; and,
WHEREAS, the project was completed by Fleming Construction Co., Inc. for $3672.92 under the original Contract Price of $319,809.00; and,
WHEREAS, the project was completed by Fleming Construction Co., Inc. nine (9) days ahead of the original completion date of November 12, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. One (1) - Final is necessary to close out the construction contract with Fleming Construction Co., Inc. for Parish Project No. P990504, Boutte Drainage Improvements.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. One (1) - Final to the contract for Parish Project No. P990504, Boutte Drainage Improvements, to offer a contract credit total of $3672.92 and a decrease in contract time of nine (9) days to St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
