ORDINANCE NO.                    

Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 and Final for the 3^rd Floor Prison Demolition at the St. Charles Parish Courthouse in Hahnville.

Body

WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 10-1-13 on January 25, 2010 approving and authorizing the execution of a contract with Zimmer - Eschette Service II, LLC, for the demolition of the 3^rd Floor Prison at the St. Charles Parish Courthouse in Hahnville; and,

WHEREAS,      it is necessary to adjust the original contract to reflect those items more fully described in Change Order No. 1, said adjustment as recommended by Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects Regional Design Group, LLC, in the  amount of  a $25,816.94 decrease and to increase the Contract Time by 45 days; and,

WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Change Order No. 1.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That Change Order No. 1 and Final for the 3^rd Floor Prison Demolition at the St. Charles Parish Courthouse in the amount of a $25,816.94 decrease and an increase in Contract Time of forty - five days is hereby approved.

      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
