Title
A resolution requesting the assistance and support of the Louisiana Congressional Delegation on priority projects for St. Charles Parish.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish Council firmly believes the following listed issues are priority projects, which will benefit all of the citizens of St. Charles Parish:
I. Westbank Hurricane Protection Levee, Pump Stations, Structures, Floodwall, and Floodgates
II. Relocation of LA 3060 (Barton Avenue) to New State Route from Willowdale Boulevard to LA 18
III. Improvements to Sewer Lift Stations
IV. Westbank Deep Water Public Dock
WHEREAS, the Parish Council is requesting our Congressional Delegation assist in promoting and/or funding these projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the assistance and support of the Louisiana Congressional Delegation on priority projects for St. Charles Parish.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution and attached correspondence be distributed to Senator Mary Landrieu, Senator David Vitter, Representative Charlie Melancon, Representative Steve Scalise, and members of their Staff.

And the resolution was declared adopted this day of 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
