Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No S100902, Upgrade to Ashton Pump Station & Force Main, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $113,746.75 and increase of 30 days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12-11-7 adopted November 5, 2012 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No S100902, Upgrade to Ashton Pump Station & Force Main, to Advanced Quality Construction, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $113,746.75 and increase the contract time by 30 days.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. S100902, Upgrade to Ashton Pump Station & Force Main, to decrease the contract amount by $113,746.75 and increase the contract time by 30 days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
