Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 001 for Parish Project No S190901 Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement) to increase the contract amount by $22,707.58 and increase the number of days by 14.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 20-7-17 adopted July 27, 2020, by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No S190901 Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement) to Volute, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in an increase to the contract amount by $22,707.58 and increase the number of days by 14.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 001 for Parish Project No S190901 Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement) to increase the contract amount by $22,707.58 and increase the number of days by 14 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2021 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
