IN   RECOGNITION

 

WHEREAS,                     Merrick “Ricky” Rousselle, Jr., a resident of St. Charles Parish, resides in Paradis, Louisiana with his wife Amy; and,

 

WHEREAS,                     Ricky began working for St. Charles Parish in 1995 as a temporary Laborer in the Public Works Department; worked in the Parks and Recreation Department from 1995-1997 as Recreation Maintenance and then Grass Cutter.  In 1997 he transferred to the Waterworks Department and returned to the Public Works Department in 2006, where he remained until being appointed as Public Works Assistant Superintendent on February 2, 2018 - a position he held until his retirement; and,

 

WHEREAS,                     on July 20, 2025, Ricky has retired after 30 years of dedicated public service to the residents of St. Charles Parish.  His knowledge, dedication, and work ethic will be missed.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to

 

MERRICK “RICKY” ROUSSELLE, JR.
