Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1, Final, for the Hurricane Isaac Repairs to Wetland Watchers Park, to add an additional 16 days to the contract.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13-4-1 adopted April 8, 2013 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of the Hurricane Isaac Repairs to Wetland Watchers Park to Echo Ventures, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor could not access several of the work areas in the park due to tidal inundation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 Final for the Hurricane Isaac Repairs to Wetland Watchers Park, to add an additional 16 days to the contract is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
