Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. Three (3) for the Montz/Norco Pump Station and Force Mains Project to decrease the contract amount by $33,119.07 and to increase the contract time by 60 days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 99-7-6 adopted July 6, 1999 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Magnolia Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the Montz/Norco Pump Station and Force Mains Project in the amount of $4,150,992.00.
SECTION II. Ordinance No. 00-4-10 adopted on April 3, 2000 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized Change Order No. One (1) to increase the contract amount by $133,314.00 and to increase the contract time by Twenty (20) days.
SECTION III. Ordinance No. 00-8-16 adopted on August 21, 2000 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized Change Order No. Two (2) to increase the contract amount by $171,085.61 and to increase the contract time by Seventy (70) days.
SECTION IV. That it is necessary to amend the contract to increase the contract time by 60 days to account for additional work to the project for a total of six (6) items.
SECTION V. That it is necessary to increase the contract time by 60 days and decrease the contract price by $33,119.07.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Three (3) for the Montz/Norco Pump Station and Force Mains Project to decrease the contract amount by $33,119.07 and to increase the contract time by 60 days.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
