Proclamation: TRIAD Senior Day

P R O C L A M A T I O N
WHEREAS, TRIAD is a program designed to promote the prevention of crime and to assist victims of crime through cooperative education, mutual awareness and participation by Seniors and Lawmen Working Together; and,
WHEREAS, Sheriff Greg Champagne, the St. Charles Council on Aging, Home Health Agencies and concerned citizens have formed a partnership to protect and assist the elderly of our community; and,
WHEREAS, TRIAD mobilizes community resources to continually ascertain the needs and concerns of older citizens and provides a mechanism for meeting those needs; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council and Parish President designate Thursday, October 19, 2000, as "TRIAD SENIOR DAY" in St. Charles Parish.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2000, AS
"TRIAD SENIOR DAY"
IN ST. CHARLES PARISH.
