ORDINANCE NO. ____________

Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract for Engineering Services with G.E.C., Inc. for necessary professional engineering services associated with subdivision inspection services.

Body

WHEREAS,      the construction of new residential subdivisions occur on a regular basis throughout the St. Charles Parish; and,

WHEREAS,      since these new residential subdivisions are dedicated to the Parish after construction it is important that the subdivision is built according to Parish standards; and,

WHEREAS,      Parish Code allows for the use of Resident Project Representatives to oversee construction to ensure that subdivision is indeed built to construction plans and specifications and Parish Standards.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That the contract for Engineering Services between G.E.C., Inc. and the Parish of St. Charles is hereby approved;

      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Contract for Engineering Services on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
