ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 00-9-17, an agreement with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development to include funding for Phase B of the East Bank Bike and Pedestrian Path, State Project No. 744-45-0003.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance 00-9-17 on September 18, 2000 approving an Agreement with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for the St. Charles Parish Bike and Pedestrian Path - Phase A; and
WHEREAS, on February 19, 2001 the Parish Council adopted Resolution No. 4889 supporting Phase B of the East Bank Bike and Pedestrian Path; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the State to amend the original agreement to include both Phase A and B by changing Article I Project Description and Article II Funding ;and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish to approve said agreement
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to Enhancement Agreement State Project No. 744-45-0003, Federal Aid Project No. ENH - 4500 (503) St. Charles Parish Bike and Pedestrian Path St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Supplemental Agreement No. 1 on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
